Your First Visit
At Tampa Advanced Dental Solutions, your first visit is designed to be clear, calm, and informative. We want you to know exactly what to expect and feel confident in the hands of our specialists.
Your initial appointment typically includes a comprehensive consultation, where we review your current concerns, evaluate any existing restorations or implants, and outline potential treatment options based on your goals.
What to Bring to Your Consultation
Bringing the following helps us prepare thoroughly for your visit:
- Referral slip and any recent X-rays (if applicable)
- A list of current medications
- Identification form
- Dental insurance information
If you have had radiographs taken within the last six months, please ask your dentist to forward them to our office. Please note we always take our own X-rays to ensure clear, consistent imaging for accurate diagnosis.
During Your Visit
Your specialist will review your medical and dental history, examine the areas of concern, and discuss diagnostic findings with you.
For straightforward cases, treatment may be provided the same day.
For more complex needs, we may schedule a second appointment to finalize treatment planning or coordinate interdisciplinary care.
If you have a medical condition that may affect treatment—such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, joint replacements, autoimmune disorders, or blood thinners—please let our team know in advance.
A parent or guardian must accompany patients under 18.
Scheduling
Our doctors are available throughout the week, and we make every effort to accommodate appointments promptly.
Initial consultations generally take about one hour, depending on the complexity of your case.
If you are experiencing discomfort or have an urgent issue, we will do our best to see you as soon as possible.
